300J-ns Nd:glass laser system primarily serves as a light source for Dynamic of Materials under Extreme Conditions (DMEC) research platforms. It outputs laser at a wavelength of 1053nm, with an adjustable fundamental frequency energy ranging from 20J to 250J. After second harmonic generation, the maximum energy can reach 150J. The pulse width is adjustable between 3ns and 10ns. This system is mainly used for studying the interaction between nanosecond lasers and materials, including ultrafast nonlinear responses in atomic, molecular, and solid-state materials, as well as laser-induced high-pressure loading in materials.
